This year, I have seen so many hares gracing the landscape with their presence more than ever, their wild spirit woven into the changing seasons. And with Cosmos flowers which are a cherished favourite of mine, lovingly grown at my wee shop in Alford each year, the painting becomes not just an ode to nature’s beauty, but a reflection of its familiar magic, ever returning, ever blooming.

Painted in watercolour, Colour Pencil and pan pastel on Hahnemühle Watercolour 640gsm/300lbs paper
